Administrator Applications
Are you interested in applying to become an administrator for Mytakia? We are glad to see you are interested in applying to become part of Mytakia staff team! We as a team, need to help each other and keep on the same page, we as a team need to make sure that Mytakia runs smoothly and try to minimize the chaos. Please read this entire post carefully, for this post contains important information about Mytakia's staff applications.

This process can take up to two months. In this time, we ask that you patiently wait. We understand this wait can be stressful, but we take ample time to ensure we are making the best decision possible.

There are also several reasons an application can be disqualified. Lying about your age, falsifying information, and prior rule violations are a few.

Once a decision has been made, the owner or head of Alpha's will send you a message regarding the status of your application. In some instances, you may be asked if you can meet with a team member to discuss your application in further detail. If your application is accepted, you will be promoted to either Helper (if you need more training) or the position you applied for.

If your application is rejected, you can always try again in the future. You are free to send in another application after a full four months has gone by since the end of the discussion.

Please note that sending in an application does not mean that you can instantly join the team or that you will be ensured a place on the team.
All administrators on Wolfhome must also be at least 16 years or older in age and must have joined Mytakia at least 5 months prior to sending an application. (not applicable right now)

And before you consider filling out an application, here is some advice from us to you:


Honesty is key
Be honest in your application! Honesty is very important, and that is a trait that we look for in administrators.

Content
An application should have a lot of thought, effort, and attention to detail put into it.
Usually this comes in the form of having an appropriate amount of content. An application should not be too short and it should not be too long.
Try to explain yourself and answer the questions with as much important information as you can.

Devotion
We look for active members of the community! Being active means that you log into the site regularly (that means, at least three days a week at minimum).
We want to promote people who care a lot about Mytakia!

Patience
All applications are discussed thoroughly and go through a selection process. This process can take awhile, as we want to ensure that we are making a proper and educated choice.
For this reason, we ask that you be patient as your application is discussed. This also pertains to sending in multiple applications at the same time. It is also important to note that asking about the status of your application will result in your application being denied.
Please be patient and we will get back to you as soon as we can!

Maturity and Responsibility
We look for users who can behave professionally.
That is not to say you have to put your whole personality aside and be “strictly professional” or “rigid” all the time in order to become an administrator, but an administrator must know when to put jokes aside when it comes down to serious business.
This is also to say that a few prior offenses on your account will not mean you will be automatically rejection.
Similarly to that, an application should have a lot of thought, effort, and seriousness into it, similar to an application one would send in for a job. You would not use text-speak or abbreviations in a job application! You would use full, complete, and well thought out sentences.

Be true to yourself
This does go along with being honest, but do not feel that you need to be someone you are not while filling out your application.
Just be true to who you are and represent yourself accurately!

Rejection is not the end of the world
If your application is denied, it does not mean you can never become an administrator on Mytakia in the future!
There will always be other opportunities, whether it is on Mytakia or not. You can always try again after a full four months have gone by.
